MOBA Apps Performance in Central America Q3 2024

The third quarter of 2024 witnessed interesting trends in the performance of top MOBA apps across Central America. This analysis, based on Sensor Tower data, highlights the weekly downloads, revenue, and active user numbers for these popular games on a unified platform.

Brawl Stars by Supercell saw a significant fluctuation in weekly revenue, which peaked at around $562K in early September. Downloads experienced a notable increase, reaching approximately 205K in the same period. Meanwhile, the game maintained a robust user base, with active users fluctuating between 3.5M and 3.9M throughout the quarter.

Pokémon UNITE, from The Pokémon Company, showed a moderate revenue trend, with the highest weekly revenue of about $25K in late July. Downloads peaked at around 48K in early August, while active users varied between 100K and 137K over the quarter.

Squad Busters, another title from Supercell, experienced a decline in downloads from 107K in early July to just under 22K by the end of September. Revenue followed a similar downward pattern, dropping from approximately $61K to $40K. However, active users showed resilience, maintaining a range from 297K to 596K.

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang by Shanghai Moonton Technology Co., Ltd., demonstrated stable weekly revenue, hovering around $55K to $66K. Downloads showed variability, peaking at about 26K towards the end of the quarter. Active users displayed a slight downward trend, ranging from 312K to 408K.

Finally, Honor of Kings from Level Infinite showed a gradual decline in both downloads and active users. Revenue started at approximately $20K and ended the quarter at around $9.5K. Downloads tapered off from 71K to just above 3K, while active users decreased from 116K to about 37K.
