In the third quarter of 2024, the insurance app landscape in Guatemala experienced varied trends across the top five applications on the unified platform. Data from Sensor Tower provides a comprehensive view of these apps' downloads and user engagement.

RPN, developed by Mediprocesos S.A., saw a gradual decline in downloads throughout the quarter. Starting with 426 downloads in the first week of July, the numbers tapered off to 154 by the end of September. This consistent decrease highlights a downward trend in user acquisition.

Universales, published by Seguros Universales, S.A., experienced fluctuations in its download metrics. The quarter began with 139 downloads, dipping mid-quarter, but eventually recovering to 104 downloads in the last week of September. This indicates a relatively stable performance with minor variations.

Grupo Ficohsa's Ficohsa app had a moderate download trend. The app started with 97 downloads in early July, peaking at 134 in the week of July 15, then maintaining a steady flow around the 80s towards the end of the quarter.
