In the third quarter of 2024, the finance app sector in Ecuador showed varied performance across the top five applications on a unified platform, according to data from Sensor Tower.
PICHINCHA BANCA MÓVIL experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads. Starting at around 56K in early July, downloads dipped to approximately 35K by the end of September. Despite this, the app maintained a robust user base, with weekly active users rising from about 1.4M to over 1.5M during the quarter.
Deuna: ¡Paga y cobra fácil! saw its downloads start at 47K in the first week of July, decreasing to around 33K by the end of September. The app's weekly active users hovered around the 450K to 480K range, showcasing a steady user engagement throughout the quarter.
The app Banco Guayaquil: Banca Móvil maintained a consistent download rate of approximately 23K to 28K weekly. Active users increased from about 377K in early July to over 402K by the end of September, indicating a growth in user engagement.
