In the third quarter of 2024, the education app landscape in Nigeria showed varied performance across the top five apps. According to Sensor Tower data, these apps demonstrated distinct trends in weekly downloads, active users, and revenue.

Advanced English Dictionary saw a steady rise in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 25K by the end of September. Its active user base also expanded, climbing from around 36.9K in early July to over 40.7K by the quarter's end. Revenue remained negligible throughout the period.

Duolingo: Language Lessons experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads, with a notable spike to 35K in early July and another surge to 32.9K in late August. The app's weekly revenue gradually increased, reaching $1.8K in early September. Active users peaked at 62.2K in early September before tapering off slightly.

Domi Kids-Baby Songs & Videos maintained a consistent download rate, hovering around 15K to 22K weekly. Active users showed a robust presence, starting at 118K and closing the quarter at 134K. The app did not generate any revenue during this period.

Bible App for Kids had stable download numbers, fluctuating between 9K and 13K, with a peak of 12.9K in early September. Active users increased from 21.3K to 26.6K by mid-September, before experiencing a slight decline.

Finally, Kids Nursery Rhymes - Domi TV demonstrated a steady download rate, peaking at 13K in mid-July. Active users remained fairly consistent, ranging from 11K to 13K throughout the quarter. Similar to other children's apps on the list, it did not report any revenue.
