In the third quarter of 2024, the top education applications on the unified platform in Africa showcased varied performance trends, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Duolingo: Language Lessons saw a significant rise in weekly revenue, culminating at nearly $25K by the end of September. Weekly downloads fluctuated, with a peak of approximately 338K in late August. Active users reached just over 1M in early September, although there was a dip to around 868K by the end of the quarter.

Gauth: AI Study Companion experienced a steady increase in weekly revenue, reaching about $1.2K at the quarter's close. Downloads surged dramatically, hitting 952K in the last week of September. Active users mirrored this trend, peaking at 885K during the same period.

Domi Kids-Baby Songs & Videos showed modest revenue throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads ranged from approximately 57K to 84K, with a consistent user base, culminating at 482K active users by the end of September.

Scientific calculator plus 991 had minimal revenue, while downloads increased steadily, reaching nearly 95K in the final week. Active users grew consistently, surpassing 1.09M by the end of September.
