Top 5 Utilities Apps on iOS in Germany, Q3 2024

In the third quarter of 2024, the top utilities applications on iOS in Germany showcased varied performance trends in downloads and weekly active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Google maintained a strong download presence, with figures starting at approximately 71K in early July and peaking at 114K in mid-August. Despite fluctuations, weekly active users held steady around 1.6M throughout the quarter.

Google Chrome exhibited a consistent download trend, reaching a high of about 55K in early September. Weekly active users remained stable, fluctuating slightly around 1.6M.

AusweisApp Bund saw a notable increase in downloads, with numbers rising from 36K at the start of July to a peak of 44K by the end of September. Weekly active users also trended upwards, starting at 216K and reaching 236K by late September.

Google Authenticator experienced an upward trend in downloads, beginning at 24K in early July and peaking at 31K in late September. Weekly active users showed a slight decline initially but rebounded to 261K by the end of the quarter.

MeinMagenta: Handy & Festnetz recorded an increase in downloads during the quarter, with numbers rising from 27K in early July to 26K by late September. Weekly active users fluctuated, starting at 157K, dropping mid-quarter, and then recovering to 158K by the end.
