As the third quarter of 2024 unfolded, Belarusian iOS users showed a preference for a mix of VPN services and popular Google applications. Here’s a closer look at the performance of the top five utilities apps based on Sensor Tower data.

VPN - fast, secure, no limits saw a fluctuating revenue pattern, peaking impressively at $44K in mid-September before settling at $10K by the end of the month. Downloads began strong in July with over 10K and reached their peak at nearly 14K in early August, before tapering off to around 7K by late September. The app maintained a healthy number of weekly active users, climbing from 16K at the start of the quarter to over 33K by the end.

VPN - Planet VPN Proxy also showed dynamic trends, with revenue starting at $18K in early July and hitting $87K in mid-August. Downloads rose steadily, peaking at over 5K in the last week of September. The app’s active users consistently grew, starting at 78K and reaching nearly 119K by the end of the quarter.

Google reported no revenue but maintained a steady download rate, starting at just under 3K in early July and slightly increasing to over 3.6K by the end of September. Weekly active users remained stable, hovering around 18K throughout the quarter.
