In the third quarter of 2024, the top utilities applications on the iOS platform in Australia exhibited diverse performance trends. The data, provided by Sensor Tower, highlights the dynamics in downloads and active users for these leading apps.

myGov, from Services Australia, saw a noticeable fluctuation in its download numbers. Starting the quarter with approximately 95K downloads, the app experienced a decline, hitting a low of about 37K by the end of September. Despite this, weekly active users remained robust, starting at over 612K and stabilizing around 556K by the end of the quarter.

Google maintained a steady download rate throughout the quarter, with numbers ranging from 29K to 36K. The weekly active users for Google showed a slight increase, beginning at around 166K and reaching approximately 169K by late September.

myVicRoads demonstrated a gradual decrease in downloads, starting the quarter at 22K and dropping to about 15K. However, the app's weekly active users showed a positive trend, increasing from approximately 279K to 280K, indicating sustained user engagement.

Google Chrome also experienced stable download figures, with a slight peak in late July at 20K and finishing the quarter with roughly 19K downloads. The app's active user base remained consistent, hovering around 870K to 873K throughout the quarter.

Lastly, My Telstra exhibited a steady download pattern, beginning at 12K and reaching a peak of 13K in late September. Its weekly active users fluctuated slightly but remained close to the 97K mark by the end of the quarter.
