During the third quarter of 2024, the top travel apps on iOS in Norway displayed varied performance trends in terms of downloads and active users. All data and further insights are available on Sensor Tower.

Bolt: Request a Ride saw a moderate fluctuation in its weekly downloads, peaking at around 5.5K in mid-July. The app's weekly active users started at approximately 13.3K at the beginning of July, experiencing a slight decline to around 11.2K by the end of September.

The Norwegian Travel Assistant recorded a steady decrease in downloads from early July, bottoming out at nearly 2.9K in mid-August, before seeing a resurgence to about 4.3K by late September. Active users showed a similar pattern, starting at about 12.2K and decreasing to 9.8K in mid-August, then recovering to approximately 11.2K by the end of the quarter.

Ruter experienced an increase in weekly downloads, reaching a high of 5.3K in late July. However, downloads decreased steadily towards the end of September. The app maintained a relatively high number of active users, peaking at about 64.6K in late July, before settling at around 57.8K by the quarter's end.

Airbnb showed a strong start with downloads exceeding 6.3K in early July, followed by a gradual decline to about 2.7K by the end of September. Active user numbers followed a similar trend, starting at 26.6K and decreasing to 22.3K over the quarter.

Lastly, Ryde - Always nearby had a varied performance in downloads, peaking at 4.6K in mid-July. Active users remained stable throughout the quarter, starting at 19K and ending slightly lower at 18.2K by the end of September.
