Top 5 iOS Travel Apps Performance in Kuwait, Q3 2024

During the third quarter of 2024, the travel app landscape on iOS in Kuwait showcased interesting trends, as detailed by Sensor Tower. Here's a closer look at the performance of the top five travel applications.

OFFTO experienced fluctuations in its download numbers throughout the quarter. Starting strong with over 4K downloads in early July, the app's downloads dipped to about 735 in early August before rebounding to approximately 2.9K by the end of August.

Wego Flights & Hotels Booking maintained a relatively stable download pattern, starting at around 2K downloads weekly in July. However, the numbers gradually decreased, reaching a low of around 953 downloads by the end of September. The app's active user base also saw a gradual decline from about 16.1K in early July to roughly 14.5K by the end of September.

Uber - Request a ride showed a consistent increase in downloads from approximately 1.5K in early July to about 1.8K in early August. However, a downward trend followed, leading to around 1.1K downloads by the end of September. The app's active users remained strong, peaking at nearly 59.7K in early September before slightly decreasing to around 57.4K by the end of the month.

Careem – rides, food & more saw steady downloads, with numbers hovering between 1.4K and 1.7K throughout the quarter. The app's active user count showed a positive trend, increasing from approximately 25.3K in early July to around 26.6K by the end of September.

Finally, Booking.com: Hotels & Travel experienced a decline in downloads over the quarter, starting from about 1.9K in early July and dropping to around 704 by the end of September. Active users followed a similar trend, decreasing from 31.1K to about 28.3K during the same period.
