During the third quarter of 2024, several travel apps on iOS in Italy exhibited notable trends in terms of downloads and active users, based on data from Sensor Tower.

EasyPark - Parking made easy showed a dynamic trend in weekly downloads, starting at around 22K in early July and peaking at approximately 58K in mid-August. By the end of September, downloads had declined to about 14K. Weekly active users began the quarter at approximately 117K, saw fluctuations throughout, and ended close to 119K.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel maintained robust download numbers, starting the quarter with over 30K and reaching a high of around 35K in mid-July and early August. Downloads saw a gradual decline towards the end of the quarter, settling at about 15K. Active users started at 867K, saw a general downward trend, and concluded the quarter with approximately 649K.

Ryanair experienced fluctuations in its weekly downloads, with numbers ranging from around 22K to a peak of 30K in mid-July. By September, downloads stabilized around 16K. Active users had a similar pattern, starting at 127K and ending at approximately 113K by the end of the quarter. Revenue for Ryanair was intermittent, with small peaks, reaching up to $25 in early September.

Uber - Request a ride showed growth in weekly downloads, peaking at over 31K in mid-August before stabilizing around 17K towards the end of the quarter. Active users were consistently strong, starting at 251K and peaking at nearly 268K in late September.

Trenitalia saw a steady increase in downloads, beginning at 18K and peaking at around 21K in mid-September. Active users followed a similar trend, starting at 239K and ending the quarter at approximately 269K.
