In the third quarter of 2024, the top travel applications on iOS in France demonstrated varying trends in downloads and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Airbnb maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads experiencing an initial increase, peaking at around 57.6K in mid-August. However, downloads saw a decline towards the end of the quarter, reaching approximately 28K by late September. The app's weekly active users decreased from over 2.1M at the start of the quarter to roughly 1.7M by the end.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel showed a similar pattern, with weekly downloads peaking at just over 50K in late July. By the end of September, downloads had tapered off to about 25.8K. Weekly active users started strong at around 802K, climbing to over 1M by early August before gradually declining to approximately 664K.

SNCF Connect: Trains & routes experienced fluctuating download numbers, with a notable peak of 48.4K in early September. Active users showed resilience, starting at 2.3M and climbing to 2.4M by the end of the quarter.

Bolt: Request a Ride witnessed a steady increase in downloads, reaching a high of 45.2K in mid-August, followed by a slight decrease towards the end of September. Active users saw a stable trend with minor fluctuations, ending the quarter at around 57.9K.

Uber - Request a ride maintained consistent download numbers, peaking at 38.5K in mid-August before slightly declining to about 28.4K by September's end. The app saw a rise in active users, starting at 481K and stabilizing around 439K by the end of the quarter.
