Top 5 iOS Travel Apps in Switzerland Q3 2024 Performance

The third quarter of 2024 saw varied performance among the top travel apps on the iOS platform in Switzerland. According to Sensor Tower, the following apps showed notable trends in terms of downloads and active users.

SBB Mobile experienced a general upward trend in weekly downloads, starting from around 4.9K in early July and peaking at approximately 8.8K by the end of September. The app maintained a stable number of weekly active users, fluctuating around the 340K to 350K mark throughout the quarter.

Uber - Request a ride showed an increase in weekly downloads, beginning at about 5K and reaching over 9.1K by the end of September. Meanwhile, the weekly active users of Uber steadily rose, from roughly 199K in early July to over 210K towards the end of the quarter.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel had a fluctuating download pattern, starting with about 6.6K downloads, dipping mid-quarter, and returning to around 6.3K by the end of September. The weekly active users, however, showed a declining trend, from approximately 183K in July to about 159K at the end of the quarter.

Bolt: Request a Ride saw a decrease in downloads mid-quarter, with a start at about 5.7K, dropping to around 4.1K, and then recovering to over 5.3K by September's end. Weekly active users mirrored this pattern, peaking in mid-July at around 14.5K before stabilizing in the 12K range by the end of the quarter.

SWISS downloads began at approximately 5.1K, dipped to about 3.6K, and then rose to over 6.4K in late September. The app's weekly active users also grew from about 7.6K in early July to nearly 9.7K by the quarter's conclusion, indicating a consistent increase in engagement.
