Top 5 iOS Travel Apps in Belgium: Q3 2024 Performance

In the third quarter of 2024, travel applications on iOS in Belgium demonstrated varying performance trends. According to data from Sensor Tower, the leading apps in this category include SNCB/NMBS: Timetable & tickets, Booking.com: Hotels & Travel, Polarsteps - Travel Tracker, Uber - Request a ride, and Airbnb.

SNCB/NMBS: Timetable & tickets saw a notable increase in weekly downloads, peaking at about 12.9K in mid-September. Meanwhile, weekly active users steadily grew from 85.5K to over 90.3K by the end of the quarter.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel experienced a decline in both downloads and active users. Weekly downloads decreased from 7.7K at the start of July to around 3.5K at the end of September. Similarly, active users dropped from 185.9K to 159.1K over the same period.

Polarsteps - Travel Tracker had fluctuating download numbers, with a significant increase to 8.8K in early September, followed by a decrease towards the end of the quarter. Active users rose from 30.1K in early July to a peak of 42.8K in mid-September before settling at 34.7K.

Uber - Request a ride maintained relatively stable download numbers, with a peak of 7.9K downloads in early September. The app's active users showed an upward trend, increasing from 92.8K to 99.3K throughout the quarter.

Airbnb faced a downward trend in downloads, starting at 6.5K and dropping to 2.8K by the end of September. Active users also decreased from 72.2K to 60.3K over the same timeframe.
