Top 5 Travel Apps Performance on iOS in Hungary, Q3 2024

In the third quarter of 2024, the top travel applications on the iOS platform in Hungary exhibited diverse performance trends, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Flightradar24 | Flight Tracker saw a consistent fluctuation in weekly revenue, peaking at around $2.1K in early August, while downloads initially peaked in mid-July at approximately 2.2K and gradually decreased to about 1.4K by the end of September. The app maintained a relatively stable number of weekly active users, starting at 7.5K and ending slightly lower at 7.4K.

Természetjáró, a túratervező experienced a gradual decline in weekly revenue from $1.1K in early July to around $400 by the end of September. Downloads saw a slight increase in August, reaching a high of 460, before settling at approximately 416 by the quarter's close.

Planes Live - Flight Tracker reported a varied revenue pattern, with a peak of $409 in early September. Downloads decreased from 496 in early July to a low of 167 in early September, but rebounded to 335 by the end of the quarter. Weekly active users dropped from 954 to 753 over the same period.

Outdooractive showed a modest increase in weekly revenue, reaching $495 in mid-July before declining to $253 by the end of September. Downloads fluctuated, starting at 114 and decreasing to 103, while weekly active users remained relatively stable, ending at 234.

Finally, BorderWatcher experienced a significant drop in both revenue and downloads over the quarter. Weekly revenue started at $162, peaking at $426 in mid-August, then declining to $54 by the end of September. Downloads followed a similar trend, starting at 100 and reducing to 18 by the end of the quarter.
