In the third quarter of 2024, the performance of the top shopping apps on iOS in Romania showcased diverse trends in downloads and active user engagement. According to Sensor Tower, here are the insights for the top five apps in this category.

Trendyol: Fashion & Trends experienced a fluctuating pattern in weekly downloads, beginning the quarter with 36.6K and peaking at around 40.9K in early September. Weekly active users steadily rose from 300K in early July to approximately 461K by the end of September.

Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire saw a downward trend in weekly downloads, starting at 25.6K and gradually decreasing to about 19.6K by the end of the quarter. Active users remained relatively stable, maintaining a range between 201K and 214K throughout the period.

SHEIN - Shopping Online faced a decline in weekly downloads, dropping from 13.5K at the start of the quarter to around 8.4K by the end. Despite this, weekly active users showed a slight fluctuation, reaching a low of 158K in mid-September but rebounding to 162K by the end of the quarter.

Mein dm observed a notable increase in weekly downloads, climbing from 7.1K in early July to a peak of 14.2K in late September. Active users also increased steadily, beginning at 32.7K and rising to 48K by the quarter's conclusion.

Lidl Plus showed a consistent growth in weekly downloads, starting at 5.2K and reaching 9.6K by the end of September. The app's active users also saw an upward trend, growing from 57.3K to 62.9K during the quarter.
