In the third quarter of 2024, the leading shopping apps on the iOS platform in Europe demonstrated varied performance trends in terms of downloads and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire saw robust weekly downloads, peaking at around 1.7M in mid-July before gradually declining to approximately 1.2M by the end of September. The app maintained a strong weekly active user base, starting at nearly 16M and ending the quarter with a slight increase to over 17M.

SHEIN - Shopping Online experienced a steady download rate, with numbers fluctuating between 370K and 470K throughout the quarter. Active users for SHEIN remained relatively stable, hovering around 13M, with a slight uptick towards the end of September.

AliExpress - Shopping App recorded a notable increase in weekly downloads in August, reaching over 400K, before settling back to about 250K by the end of the quarter. The app's weekly active users started at around 5.8M, with a slight decline to approximately 5.7M by the quarter's conclusion.

Lidl Plus enjoyed a progressive rise in downloads, starting at around 240K in early July and climbing to over 330K by mid-September. The active user base also showed a positive trend, growing from 4.1M to nearly 4.4M over the quarter.

Lastly, Hacoo - sara lower price mart demonstrated a significant increase in downloads, starting at around 73K and peaking at over 270K by the end of September. The app's active users mirrored this growth, beginning at approximately 590K and reaching nearly 975K by the quarter's end.
