Top 5 Shopping Apps on iOS in Ecuador: Q3 2024 Performance

In the third quarter of 2024, the Ecuadorian iOS market saw varied performance trends among the top shopping applications. According to Sensor Tower's data, here’s how the top five apps fared during this period.

Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire maintained a steady presence with weekly downloads fluctuating around 22K to 23K. The app also showed a consistent growth in weekly active users, starting from 47K at the beginning of July and reaching approximately 71K by the end of September.

SHEIN - Shopping Online experienced a decline in weekly downloads over the quarter, beginning with over 6K downloads in early July and dropping to around 3.9K by the end of September. However, weekly active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 115K to 120K throughout the quarter.

Amazon Shopping showed an increase in downloads, peaking at approximately 3.7K in the last week of September. Active users also saw a notable increase, particularly in mid-July, where numbers surged to nearly 110K before settling around 89K by the end of the quarter.

Upper had a varied performance, with weekly downloads initially decreasing from around 1.4K to a low of 413 in late July. However, it rebounded in August, reaching nearly 3K downloads in mid-August before stabilizing around 1.5K towards the end of September.

Finally, Alibaba.com experienced a gradual decline in downloads, starting at approximately 1.8K in July and decreasing to around 919 by the end of September. The app's weekly active users remained consistent, averaging around 22K throughout the quarter.
