Top 5 iOS Shopping Apps in Germany Q3 2024 Performance

In the third quarter of 2024, the top shopping apps on iOS in Germany showed varied performance in terms of downloads and active users, according to Sensor Tower data.

Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire began the quarter with a strong download count of over 179K, peaking at around 251K in mid-August. However, downloads experienced a notable decline to approximately 98K by the end of September. Active users remained relatively stable, starting at about 2.4M and fluctuating slightly throughout the quarter, ending at nearly 2.3M.

AliExpress - Shopping App saw a decrease in downloads from roughly 82K at the start of July to about 33K by the end of September. Active users showed a similar pattern, with a slight decline from 636K to 585K over the quarter.

Lidl Plus experienced notable fluctuations, with downloads soaring to approximately 92K in late July. Despite this peak, downloads settled at around 55K by the end of September. Active user numbers remained strong, fluctuating around the 580K mark throughout the quarter.

Mein dm exhibited a significant increase in downloads, especially in early September, reaching over 106K. This surge was followed by a decrease to around 40K by the quarter's end. Active users climbed steadily, starting at 562K and peaking at about 699K in late September.

Kleinanzeigen - without eBay maintained a consistent download rate, with figures hovering around 48K towards the end of September. Active users saw a gradual increase from 2M at the beginning of the quarter to approximately 2.15M by the end.
