In the third quarter of 2024, the top five iOS news applications in Uruguay showcased intriguing trends across downloads, revenue, and active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.

X from X Corp. experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, peaking at about $1.4K in late July and reaching $1.2K by the end of September. Weekly downloads saw a moderate increase, reaching 1.7K in early July, and settling around 1.3K by the end of September. The app maintained a robust presence with weekly active users hovering around 120K to 125K throughout the quarter.

Reddit displayed a variable revenue pattern, with a peak of $55 in early September. Weekly downloads remained relatively steady, averaging around 450, while weekly active users showed a gradual increase from 5.8K to over 6.6K by the quarter's end.

Google News did not generate any revenue during this period. However, downloads showed a mild upward trend, with a noticeable peak of 200 downloads in mid-August. Weekly active users fluctuated slightly, reaching a peak of 1.9K in August and closing the quarter with around 1.8K.

Podcast & Radio - iVoox saw its weekly revenue peak at $163 in early July, with a notable dip mid-quarter, before ending at $77. Downloads showed some volatility, with highs of 105 downloads in late August and lows of 48 in mid-September. Active users remained stable, averaging around 250 to 300 throughout the quarter.

El País Epaper recorded a peak revenue of $124 in mid-August. Downloads varied, with a high of 118 in the same month and a low of 47 in late September.
