In the third quarter of 2024, the top five news applications on the iOS platform in Colombia showcased varied performance metrics, as revealed by Sensor Tower data.

X from X Corp. demonstrated a stable revenue stream, peaking at around $4.4K in early July and maintaining figures close to $4K throughout the quarter. Downloads fluctuated, with a notable surge to approximately 22.9K in late July. Weekly active users began the quarter at about 493K, experiencing a gradual decline to around 469K by the end of September.

Reddit saw modest revenue, with values hovering around $11 to $14 over the quarter. Downloads increased steadily, reaching a peak of approximately 2.9K in late August. Active users grew from 17.3K to about 19.7K by the end of the quarter.

Google News recorded no revenue during the period. Downloads varied, peaking at around 956 in early August, while active users showed minor fluctuations, ending the quarter at roughly 3.2K.

Spotify for Podcasters did not generate revenue in Q3. Download numbers were relatively stable, with a slight increase to around 594 by the end of September. Active users rose from about 1.5K to 1.8K over the quarter.

BLU Radio also reported no revenue. Downloads were highest in early July at 598 and experienced a decline, ending at 357 by late September. Active user data was not provided for this app.
