In the third quarter of 2024, the top 5 iOS news applications in Austria showcased varied performance trends in terms of downloads, revenue, and active user engagement. Here's a closer look at how these apps fared, based on Sensor Tower's data.

Reddit saw a fluctuating pattern in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $113 in late July. The download numbers started strong, reaching about 2.8K by the end of July, but experienced a gradual decline towards the end of the quarter. Active users remained fairly stable, maintaining a range between 74K and 78K throughout the period.

X from X Corp. experienced significant weekly revenue variations, with a peak of around $3.7K at the end of September. Downloads showed a slight decline over the quarter, starting at 1.6K and ending at 1.6K again after a dip. Active users also exhibited a downward trend, decreasing from about 127K to 118K by the end of September.

The ORF ON app, despite generating no revenue, showed a consistent download trend, with numbers peaking at 2.7K in early July and fluctuating around 1K for the rest of the quarter. Active users showed a slight decline, starting at 5.6K and ending at 4.1K.
