In the third quarter of 2024, the performance of the top five iOS news applications in Angola showcased diverse trends in weekly revenue, downloads, and active user metrics, according to data from Sensor Tower.

The Economist - News, Podcasts saw a notable fluctuation in weekly revenue. It started with a modest $8 in early July but peaked at around $262 in late August before settling at $24 by the end of September. The app did not register any weekly downloads throughout the quarter.

PressReader: News & Magazines experienced a varied revenue pattern, starting at $100 at the beginning of July and reaching $147 in the second week. Revenue then dipped and rose again to $115 in August, finishing the quarter at $24. Downloads were minimal, with a few weeks showing single-digit numbers, and active users slightly declined from 34K to 26K over the quarter.

César Vidal TV had a sporadic revenue pattern, beginning with $12 in early July and spiking to $91 in late August. It concluded September with $22. The app did not see any downloads during this period.

Expresso maintained a relatively stable revenue stream, starting at $15 in early July and ending at $21 by late September. Downloads were minimal, with only a few occurrences in August and September.

Lastly, VEJA showed a stable revenue trajectory, beginning with $12 in early July and experiencing slight fluctuations throughout the quarter, ending with $11. There were no downloads recorded during this period.
