Top 5 iOS Navigation Apps in Oman Q3 2024

During the third quarter of 2024, the top five navigation apps on iOS in Oman displayed varied performance in terms of downloads and active user engagement, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Google Maps maintained a solid presence with weekly downloads peaking at around 8.7K in mid-July, although this figure gradually decreased to approximately 3K by the end of September. Meanwhile, the app consistently engaged active users, starting at about 386K at the beginning of July and closing the quarter with around 373K.

Qibla Finder Compass 100% experienced a notable increase in weekly revenue, reaching its peak at approximately $1.2K in mid-August. Weekly downloads exhibited a declining trend, starting from a high of 1.2K in late July and tapering off to about 500 by the end of the quarter. The app's active user base slightly fluctuated, beginning at around 1.9K and ending at approximately 1.9K.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic showed a downward trend in weekly downloads, beginning the quarter with 1.2K and decreasing to just under 500 by September's end. However, the app retained a relatively stable active user base, maintaining over 90K users throughout the quarter.

Speedometer 55 GPS Speed & HUD had a modest download rate, with numbers hovering around 300 to 380 weekly. Active users remained consistent, slightly increasing from 1.1K in July to around 1.2K by the end of September.
