Top 5 iOS Navigation Apps in Netherlands: Q3 2024 Performance

In the third quarter of 2024, the top navigation apps on the iOS platform in the Netherlands showcased varied performance trends. This analysis provides insights into the weekly downloads and active user metrics for the top five apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Google Maps, developed by Google, maintained a strong presence with its weekly downloads fluctuating between 15K and 18K. Despite a slight decline in weekly active users from 3.5M to 3.4M, it remains a popular choice for navigation.

ANWB Onderweg & Wegenwacht experienced a decline in weekly downloads, starting at 13K and dropping to around 5.5K mid-quarter before recovering to 12K by the end of September. Weekly active users saw a similar trend, decreasing from 30K to 24K before bouncing back to 33K.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic showed a gradual decrease in weekly downloads, starting at 9.8K and ending at 8.5K. However, its weekly active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating around the 500K mark throughout the quarter.

Flitsmeister showed notable weekly revenue, consistently generating between $66K and $116K. Its weekly downloads ranged from 8.2K to 11K, while active users experienced a slight dip from 147K to 123K before recovering to 141K by the quarter's end.

Finally, Transport Public Paris 2024 had a unique trajectory with a spike in downloads in July, reaching up to 9.7K. However, downloads tapered off to below 100 by the end of the quarter. Active users followed a similar pattern, peaking at 13K in July and then declining to around 5.4K.
