In the third quarter of 2024, the top navigation applications on the iOS platform in Kenya showcased varied performance metrics, according to data from Sensor Tower. Here's a detailed look at how these apps fared based on their weekly downloads, revenue, and active user trends.

Google Maps maintained a robust presence with weekly downloads ranging from approximately 2.1K to 2.9K throughout the quarter. The app experienced a peak in downloads during the week of August 12, with 2.9K downloads. Active users also displayed a consistent increase, starting at 74.1K in early July and reaching about 80K by the end of September.

The Bolt Driver App saw a significant drop in downloads after an initial spike of 2.4K in the first week of July, stabilizing between 90 and 285 downloads in the subsequent weeks. Active user numbers decreased from 2.6K in early July to around 2.2K by the end of the quarter, with a slight recovery mid-quarter.

Qibla Compass (Kaaba Locator) showed modest revenue peaks, with the highest being $15 in the second week of July. Downloads exhibited a steady upward trend, peaking at 248 in early September. Active users followed a similar trend, increasing from 117 in early July to a peak of 180 in September.
