Top 5 iOS Navigation Apps in France for Q3 2024

In the third quarter of 2024, the top navigation apps on iOS in France demonstrated varying performance trends in terms of weekly downloads and active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Google Maps maintained strong weekly downloads, peaking at around 97K in mid-August, though it experienced a decline towards the end of September with approximately 65K. The app consistently engaged a robust user base, with weekly active users fluctuating slightly but remaining above 7.8M throughout the quarter.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic saw a significant number of downloads early in the quarter, reaching about 88K in mid-August, but this number decreased to roughly 38K by the end of September. The app's weekly active users mirrored this trend, initially increasing to over 4.5M before declining to around 3.8M.

Île-de-France Mobilités experienced a noticeable increase in weekly downloads, culminating in nearly 66K at the end of September. The app also saw an upward trajectory in weekly active users, reaching approximately 276K in the same period.

Transport Public Paris 2024 had a remarkable spike in downloads in late July with over 101K, although this number dropped significantly to about 58 by the end of the quarter. Despite the drop in downloads, the app maintained a steady base of active users, closing the quarter with over 53K.

Lastly, Bonjour RATP showed consistent weekly downloads, with a peak of around 24K in early September. The app's active user count increased steadily throughout the quarter, reaching nearly 200K in the last week of September.
