According to data from Sensor Tower, these apps demonstrated varying dynamics in terms of weekly downloads and active users.

Google Maps maintained a robust presence, with weekly downloads peaking at approximately 800K mid-July before gradually declining to about 586K by the end of September. The app consistently engaged a substantial number of active users, starting at over 75M at the beginning of the quarter and ending slightly below 73M.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic showed a steady decline in weekly downloads, from around 278K in mid-July to approximately 194K by the end of September. Meanwhile, its weekly active users fluctuated, starting at about 13.8M, peaking above 15M mid-August, and then decreasing to around 13.4M by quarter's end.

Moovit: All Transit Options experienced a rise in both downloads and revenue towards the end of the quarter. Downloads increased from approximately 104K in early August to around 116K by September end. Revenue showed a similar upward trend, starting at $15K in early July and reaching about $27K by the end of September. Active users increased from about 1M in early July to over 1.4M at the close of the quarter.

Yandex Maps & Navigator experienced a gradual decline in downloads, from around 116K in early July to about 70K by the end of September. Despite this, active users remained relatively stable, with a slight increase from about 3.2M to over 3.3M over the quarter. Revenue also saw modest growth, peaking at $2.1K in September.

2GIS: Offline Map & Navigation showed a decline in weekly downloads from around 73K in early July to approximately 46K by the end of September. However, the app maintained a consistent user base, with active users increasing from about 1.3M to 1.5M over the quarter.
