In the third quarter of 2024, the top five navigation applications on iOS in France showcased notable trends in downloads, revenue, and active user engagement. This data, sourced from Sensor Tower, offers a glimpse into the performance of these leading apps.

Coyote : Carplay, GPS & radar from Coyote System experienced a significant increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $106K in mid-July. The app's downloads began the quarter at around 4K and gradually declined to about 1.6K by the end of September. Meanwhile, active users saw a slight decline from 26K to 22.5K throughout the quarter.

Iphigénie | The Hiking Map App by Iphigenie showed a consistent increase in weekly revenue, reaching nearly $30K in the first week of September. Downloads started strong at over 1K in early July but tapered off to just over 800 by quarter's end. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating around 10K throughout the quarter.

Navionics® Boating, developed by Garmin Italy Technologies S.R.L., saw its weekly revenue peak at $33.6K in early August before declining towards the end of the quarter. Downloads and active users followed a similar trend, with downloads peaking at 1.6K in mid-August and active users reaching over 2K in the same period.

Circuit Route Planner from Circuit Routing experienced a sharp increase in revenue towards the end of September, reaching $15.6K. Downloads remained fairly consistent, hovering around 1.5K throughout the quarter. Active users saw minor fluctuations, maintaining a steady presence of over 2K users.

Finally, calimoto motorcycle navigation by calimoto GmbH recorded a peak in weekly revenue of $8K in late August. Downloads showed a declining trend from 1.2K in early July to about 400 by the end of September. Active users similarly decreased from over 1.9K to around 1.3K by the quarter's close.
