In the third quarter of 2024, the MMORPG genre on iOS in the Netherlands showcased intriguing trends among the top five apps, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Old School RuneScape from Jagex saw a notable upswing in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $4K in early September. The app's downloads experienced a gradual increase, reaching around 314 in the week of September 9. Meanwhile, its active user base showed a consistent upward trend, rising from 1.4K at the start of the quarter to nearly 1.6K by the end.

Arcadia: Breath of the Land, published by Polaris Information Technology Co., Ltd, experienced a decline in weekly revenue, starting at $914 in late July and tapering off to $297 by the end of September. Downloads also declined significantly, from 1.3K at the beginning of August to just 35 in the final week of the quarter.

Flame of Valhalla Global by Leniu Games experienced fluctuations in its weekly revenue, with notable peaks of $3.5K in late July and $3.9K in late September. However, downloads dwindled over the quarter, from 699 in late July to just 29 by the end.

Albion Online from Sandbox Interactive GmbH maintained relatively stable revenue figures, with a slight peak of $383 in late August. Downloads reached a high of 257 in late July, followed by a gradual decline. Its active user count peaked at 500 in late July before experiencing a steady decrease throughout the quarter.

Star Equestrian - Horse Ranch by Foxie Ventures LLC had a modest revenue peak of $214 in the last week of September. Downloads remained fairly stable, averaging around 130 per week, while active users fluctuated slightly, ending the quarter at approximately 692.
