In the third quarter of 2024, the insurance sector on iOS in Nigeria showed varying performance across its top applications. Based on data from Sensor Tower, we delve into the weekly download trends of these apps, highlighting their market presence and user engagement.

MyAXA Plus saw a fluctuating download pattern throughout the quarter. The app started strong with around 835 downloads in the first week of July, then experienced a dip reaching a low of approximately 352 downloads by mid-August. However, it rebounded towards the end of the quarter, closing with 763 downloads in the last week of September.

The Sanlam Nigeria App followed a similar trajectory, beginning with 886 downloads in early July. Despite a mid-quarter drop, the app managed to recover, achieving 782 downloads in the final week of September, showing a consistent rise in the latter part of the quarter.

SimpleLife by Heirs demonstrated a steady increase in downloads as the quarter progressed. Starting with 826 downloads, the app experienced an initial dip but then climbed to reach 797 downloads by the end of September, indicating a positive trend in user acquisition.

Reliance Care experienced a varied download rate, beginning at 726 downloads. The app faced fluctuations throughout the quarter, with downloads dropping to 338 in mid-August before rising again to 486 by the end of September.

Lastly, Hygeia Mobile maintained a relatively lower download volume compared to its peers, starting with 96 downloads and ending the quarter with 70 downloads. Despite the lower numbers, the app showed a slight peak in late September.
