In the third quarter of 2024, the top finance apps on iOS in South America showcased varied performance trends, as reported by Sensor Tower. Here's how the top five apps fared during this period.

Nubank: Conta, Cartão e mais witnessed a slight fluctuation in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 156K at the beginning of July and ending at around 132K by the end of September. The app maintained a robust presence in terms of active users, beginning the quarter with around 10.9M and reaching nearly 11.4M by the end.

Mercado Pago: cuenta digital saw a gradual increase in weekly downloads over the quarter, peaking at about 133K in the final week of September. Active users for the app also showed an upward trend, growing from approximately 4.1M at the start of July to about 4.3M by the end of September.

FGTS experienced a notable uptick in weekly downloads, reaching a high of nearly 100K in early August. However, this number dipped towards the end of the quarter, settling at around 82K in late September. The app's active user base fluctuated, starting at approximately 519K and closing the quarter at 509K.

PicPay: Conta, Cartão e Pix showed stable weekly download figures, averaging around 75K throughout the quarter. Active users remained relatively steady, fluctuating between 1.7M and 1.8M over the three months.

SerasaConsumidor maintained a consistent weekly download rate, with numbers hovering around 65K. Active users for the app displayed minor variations, starting at approximately 572K in July and ending at about 537K by September's end. Notably, this app generated a steady revenue stream, peaking at roughly $49K in late September.
