During the third quarter of 2024, the top five education apps on the iOS platform in South America showcased varied performance trends in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. According to data from Sensor Tower, these apps demonstrated significant user engagement and financial outcomes.

Duolingo - Language Lessons experienced a notable increase in weekly revenue, starting from approximately $123K in early July and peaking at around $176K by the end of August. Weekly downloads exhibited a steady rise, reaching over 76K by late September. The app also maintained a strong user base, with active users fluctuating between 1.3M and 1.5M throughout the quarter.

Headway: Daily Book Summaries showed a decline in weekly revenue, beginning at $31K and decreasing to around $27K by the end of September. Downloads also saw a downward trend, dropping from 14K to 7.7K over the quarter. Active users mirrored this pattern, decreasing from 92K to about 78K.

Lingokids - Play and Learn maintained relatively stable revenue, fluctuating around the $25K to $30K mark. Downloads started at 13K, saw a mid-quarter dip, and ended at 10.7K. The app's active users showed a slight decrease, with numbers starting at 33K and closing the quarter at 31K.
