Top 5 Auto Apps on iOS in Australia: Q3 2024 Performance

In the third quarter of 2024, the top five auto apps on the iOS platform in Australia demonstrated varied performance in terms of downloads and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Carsales maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads peaking at about 10.4K in early August, before experiencing a gradual decline to around 8.4K by the end of September. The app's weekly active users started at nearly 198K, with minor fluctuations, ending the quarter at approximately 199K.

Petrol Spy Australia saw its downloads peak at 7.2K in late July before stabilizing at around 6.3K by the end of the quarter. Active users followed a similar trend, starting at around 58.9K and increasing to approximately 63.9K towards the end of September.

BPme experienced a notable increase in downloads, particularly in mid-September, reaching a high of 11.9K. Active users also saw a surge, peaking at about 18.6K in the same week, before settling at 13.7K by the end of the quarter.

NSW Practice Tests had a steady download rate, starting at 1.9K and peaking at 3.7K in early July, then stabilizing around 2.2K towards the end of the quarter. Active users showed a consistent increase, beginning at 34.8K and reaching nearly 37.4K by the end of September.

Lastly, myLearners began the quarter with downloads at 3K, experiencing fluctuations and ending September at 3.2K. Active users saw a steady trend, starting at 38.6K and closing the quarter at approximately 37.8K.
