In the third quarter of 2024, the performance of the top shopping applications on the Android platform in the Middle East showcased diverse trends in downloads and active user engagement. This analysis is based on data from Sensor Tower, providing insights into the region's digital shopping landscape.

Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire experienced a significant increase in weekly downloads, starting from around 256K in early July and reaching a peak of approximately 362K in early September. Active users also climbed steadily, beginning at 3.1M and peaking at nearly 3.8M in late August, before stabilizing around 3.5M by the end of September.

SHEIN-Shopping Online saw a downward trend in weekly downloads, beginning at 122K in early July and dropping to about 74K by the end of September. Active users followed a similar pattern, decreasing from over 4.3M to approximately 3.2M during the same period.

Trendyol - Online Alışveriş witnessed a surge in downloads towards the end of the quarter, with numbers rising from 72K in mid-July to about 100K in late September. The app maintained a consistent active user base, growing from 539K to over 620K.

noon Shopping, Food, Grocery showed a gradual increase in both downloads and active users. Downloads rose from 61K to around 72K in mid-September, while active users increased from 1.3M to approximately 1.4M by the end of the quarter.

Amazon Shopping experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads, starting at 62K and ending at about 58K. In terms of revenue, the app generated between $20K and $34K weekly, with active users hovering around 1.4M throughout the quarter.
