In the third quarter of 2024, the shopping app landscape on Android in Lebanon saw notable trends in downloads and active user engagement. According to data from Sensor Tower, here’s how the top five shopping apps performed in this period.

SHEIN-Shopping Online experienced a fluctuating pattern in downloads, peaking at around 27K in late August before seeing a decline towards the end of September. The app maintained a strong active user base, starting the quarter with approximately 311K active users and experiencing a gradual decline to about 271K by the end of September.

Alibaba.com - B2B marketplace showed a steady yet moderate download rate, with a peak of about 13K downloads in late August. Active users remained relatively stable, starting at approximately 262K and ending the quarter with around 234K.

dubizzle OLX Lebanon saw a consistent decrease in downloads over the quarter, beginning with over 5K downloads and tapering off to just over 3K by September’s end. The app's active user count similarly decreased from around 87K to 74K.

Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire had a varied download trend, with a notable increase in early August reaching over 4K downloads, followed by a decline to just over 1K by the end of September. Active users increased slightly mid-quarter, peaking at about 17K, before a slight decline to around 14K.

Ishtari began the quarter with over 1K downloads, peaking at nearly 5K in early August, before declining to about 1.6K by the end of the quarter. Active users showed a similar trajectory, starting at around 3K, peaking at over 7K, and decreasing to about 4K.
