Top 5 Shopping Apps on Android in Hungary, Q3 2024

In the third quarter of 2024, the Android shopping app market in Hungary saw notable trends among its top five applications. Data from Sensor Tower highlights the performance of these apps, offering insights into their weekly downloads and active user engagement.

REpont, developed by MOL Magyar Olaj- és Gázipari Nyrt., experienced a significant upward trend in weekly downloads, starting at around 38K in early July and peaking at approximately 68K by mid-September. The app's weekly active users also showed a positive trajectory, increasing from roughly 77K to 160K over the quarter.

Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire maintained a consistent growth in downloads, beginning with 18.6K in the first week of July and reaching over 39K by late September. Active user numbers for this app saw a steady rise, ending the quarter with over 523K users.

SHEIN-Shopping Online exhibited fluctuating download numbers, with a peak of 23K in mid-August, while weekly active users experienced a gradual decline from nearly 297K to around 243K by the end of September.

Lidl Plus recorded a modest download count, fluctuating between 7.7K and 11K throughout the quarter. The app's user engagement remained relatively stable, with active users increasing slightly from 174K to 190K.

Finally, Vinted - Buy and sell clothes showed a notable rise in downloads, particularly in August, reaching a high of 13.6K in mid-September. Active users for Vinted increased steadily, from about 94K to 114K by the quarter's end.
