Top 5 Shopping Apps on Android in Germany, Q3 2024

In the third quarter of 2024, the top shopping apps on the Android platform in Germany showcased diverse performance trends. According to Sensor Tower data, Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire saw a significant increase in weekly downloads, starting at around 120K in early July and peaking at approximately 255K by the end of September. The app also enjoyed a rise in weekly active users, climbing from 2.6M to nearly 2.9M over the quarter.

SHEIN-Shopping Online experienced a steady upward trajectory in downloads, beginning the quarter with about 61K and ending with over 103K. Its active user base remained relatively stable, fluctuating around the 1M mark throughout the period.

Lidl Plus maintained a consistent presence in the market. Weekly downloads increased from 43K to over 50K, while active users hovered around 1M, with a slight peak to over 1.06M in late September.

AliExpress - Shopping App witnessed a decline in weekly downloads from 53K in early July to around 29K by the end of September. Active users showed a downward trend as well, starting at 1.5M and decreasing to about 1.3M.

Kleinanzeigen - without eBay demonstrated stable download numbers, with a slight increase from 31K to 36K. The app's active user count remained robust, increasing from 3.9M to over 4.1M by the quarter's end.
