During the third quarter of 2024, the top shopping apps on the Android platform in Austria showed varied performance trends in terms of downloads and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire saw a significant increase in its weekly downloads, starting from around 10.7K in early July and reaching a peak of approximately 26.5K by the end of September. This growth was also reflected in its weekly active users, which rose from about 196K at the beginning of the quarter to over 252K by the end.

SPAR experienced fluctuations in its download numbers, beginning with 6.5K downloads in July and ending with a decrease to 4.8K in late September. Despite this, the app maintained a robust number of weekly active users, ranging from roughly 364K to 392K throughout the quarter.

SHEIN-Shopping Online maintained a stable download rate, averaging around 5K to 6K downloads weekly, with a slight uptick to 6.8K at the quarter's end. Its weekly active users hovered around 43K to 45K, indicating a steady user base.

Lidl Plus exhibited a similar pattern, with downloads fluctuating from 3.4K to a high of 6.4K in mid-August. The app's active user count remained relatively consistent, starting at 234K and peaking at 251K before ending the quarter at approximately 247K.

Lastly, willhaben showed modest download numbers, ranging from 3.5K to 4.4K throughout the quarter. However, its active user base was strong, starting at 325K and reaching up to 345K by the end of September.
