The third quarter of 2024 saw interesting trends for the top MOBA apps on the Android platform in Norway. Based on data from Sensor Tower, we take a closer look at the performance of Brawl Stars, Squad Busters, Pokémon UNITE, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, and Honor of Kings.
Brawl Stars from Supercell showed a fluctuating revenue pattern, starting at around $14.2K in early July and dropping to about $7.9K mid-August, before recovering to $12.1K by the end of September. Downloads experienced a peak of 1.5K in the first week of September, followed by a decline to 900 by the end of the quarter. Active users remained relatively stable, with a slight dip from 18.8K to 17K throughout the quarter.
Squad Busters, also by Supercell, saw a decline in weekly downloads from 1.5K to 145 over the quarter. Revenue peaked at $2K at the start of July but decreased to around $878 by the end of September. Active users followed a similar downward trend, starting at 365 and ending at 31.
Pokémon UNITE had a modest revenue increase, starting at $149 and ending at $218. Downloads were low, fluctuating between 56 and 161, while active users remained steady, with a slight increase from 3.4K to 3.3K by the end of the quarter.
Mobile Legends: Bang Bang maintained consistent revenue, peaking at $2.1K in early July and tapering off to $1K by the end of September. Download numbers remained low, with a peak of 220 at the end of the quarter. Active users saw a gradual increase from 1.5K to 1.9K.
Honor of Kings from Level Infinite had a stable revenue, starting at $235 and concluding at $102. Downloads were minimal, ranging from 23 to 189. Active users slightly decreased from 300 to 233.
