Top 5 Insurance Apps on Android in El Salvador, Q3 2024

In the third quarter of 2024, the insurance app market on the Android platform in El Salvador experienced varied performance among its top five applications, as reported by Sensor Tower.

QMovil SV from Quálitas Compañia de Seguros showed a consistent pattern in weekly downloads, peaking mid-August at around 245 downloads. The app maintained a steady download rate of approximately 150 to 240 downloads per week throughout the quarter.

RPN, developed by Mediprocesos S.A., had fluctuating download numbers, starting strong with 141 downloads in early July. The numbers dipped mid-quarter but experienced a resurgence in late September, reaching about 114 weekly downloads.

Futuro Movil by Seguros Futuro Developers saw a gradual increase in downloads, beginning with 34 in early July and peaking at 80 in mid-August. The trend stabilized towards the end of the quarter, averaging around 40 to 64 downloads weekly.

The app Atlantida Vida, also from Mediprocesos S.A., exhibited a notable spike in downloads at the end of August, reaching 95. The rest of the quarter saw a more moderate download rate, maintaining between 30 and 58 downloads weekly.

Finally, ASSIST CARD experienced a gradual increase in weekly downloads, peaking at 69 in mid-August. The app's active user base showed a slight decline from 75 to 71 throughout the quarter, with a peak of 100 active users in mid-August.
