Top 5 Insurance Apps on Android in Bahrain: Q3 2024 Performance

In the third quarter of 2024, the insurance app landscape on the Android platform in Bahrain showed varied performance across the top five applications. Based on data from Sensor Tower, we explore the download trends of these apps, providing a snapshot of their performance.

UIC BAHRAIN from United Insurance Company experienced a gradual decline in weekly downloads throughout the quarter. Starting at approximately 355 downloads in the first week of July, the numbers tapered off to about 129 by the end of September.

For Solidarity, the app saw fluctuations in its download numbers. Beginning with 159 downloads in early July, it reached a peak of 191 downloads in the week of July 22, and concluded the quarter with around 155 downloads.

Smart Takaful by Takaful International Co. BSC showed a relatively stable download pattern. Weekly downloads started at 117 at the beginning of the quarter, with a noticeable increase to 161 in late July, before closing the quarter at 115 downloads.

Policybazaar - Compare & Buy presented a moderate download rate, starting with 92 downloads in the first week of July. The app's downloads fluctuated slightly throughout the quarter, ending with 63 downloads in the last week of September.

Lastly, GIG GO began the quarter with 52 downloads. The app showed some growth, hitting a high of 79 downloads in the week of July 22, before experiencing a drop in the final weeks of the quarter.
