In the third quarter of 2024, the finance app market in Slovakia showed varied performance across the top five apps on the Android platform. Data from Sensor Tower provides insights into the weekly downloads and active users of these apps, offering a snapshot of user engagement and trends throughout the quarter.

VÚB Banking experienced a notable increase in downloads, starting from around 2.7K in early July and reaching over 7K by the end of September. The app maintained a consistent presence in the Slovak market, reflecting a steady user interest.

Revolut: Spend, Save, Trade showed a stable pattern in weekly downloads, averaging around 4K throughout the quarter, with a slight peak in early September at 4.6K. The app's active user base also demonstrated growth, climbing from approximately 32.4K to 35.3K by the end of the quarter.

Google Wallet maintained a steady download rate, fluctuating between 2.7K and 3.4K. The app's active users increased from 160K to over 173K, indicating a solid and growing user base.

George Slovakia saw a significant rise in downloads, particularly in the last week of September, reaching over 5.5K. Active users followed a similar upward trend, starting at 163K and peaking at 200K by the quarter's end.

Tatra banka presented a gradual increase in downloads, with numbers climbing from 1.3K in early July to over 3.2K in September. The app's active user count grew from 69.9K to 77.4K, showing a consistent engagement with its user base.
