During the third quarter of 2024, the finance app landscape in Panama on the Android platform showcased interesting trends, as reported by Sensor Tower. Here's a closer look at the top five finance applications based on their performance metrics.

Banca Móvil de Banco General, published by Banco General, S.A., maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads starting at 11.6K in early July, peaking at 14.4K by the end of the month. However, a gradual decline followed, ending the quarter with 8.7K downloads. Active users hovered around the 100K mark, with a slight dip towards the end of September, concluding at approximately 102K.

Banca Móvil de BNP 2.0 saw a varied download pattern, beginning with 3K downloads per week and peaking at 6.3K in early September. However, a sharp decline was observed towards the end of the quarter, with weekly downloads dropping to 1.5K.

Google Wallet experienced a steady download rate, starting at 5.3K in July, with minor fluctuations throughout the quarter, ending at 4K downloads. Active users demonstrated a positive trend, growing from 5.5K in early July to 7.2K by the end of September, indicating increased engagement.

PayPal - Pay, Send, Save had a decline in weekly downloads from 5.9K at the beginning of July to 1.5K by the end of September. Despite this, active users showed resilience, increasing from 80K to 87K mid-quarter before settling at 79K.

Finally, Yappy maintained a relatively consistent download rate, starting at 3.7K and concluding at 3.4K. This stability reflects a steady user interest in the app over the quarter.
