Top 5 Finance Apps on Android in Madagascar, Q3 2024

In the third quarter of 2024, the performance of the top finance apps on the Android platform in Madagascar showcased varied trends in downloads and active users. This data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides insights into the mobile finance landscape in the region.

MVola saw a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting from around 3K in early July and peaking at over 6K in mid-August. The downloads then gradually decreased to approximately 2.6K by the end of September.

Orange Money Africa showed fluctuations in downloads, starting with around 3.8K in early July and reaching a high of 5.3K in mid-August. By the end of September, downloads settled at about 3.5K. The app maintained a strong base of weekly active users, growing from 35.5K to over 41K by the end of the quarter.

Pocket Broker - trading experienced an upward trend in downloads, starting at 1K and peaking at over 3K in late August. Active users also increased, rising from 2.9K to 7.4K during the same period, before dropping to 6.3K by the quarter's end.

SG Connect had a more moderate download pattern, with initial downloads of 781 in early July, peaking at 1.7K mid-month, and then fluctuating around 900 to 1K towards the end of September.

Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto maintained a steady download rate, starting with 563 in early July and increasing to 979 by mid-September. Active users remained stable, with a slight increase from approximately 15.3K to 17.7K during the quarter.
