Top Finance Apps Performance on Android in Spain, Q3 2024

During the third quarter of 2024, the top finance applications on the Android platform in Spain demonstrated varied performance trends, according to Sensor Tower data. Here's a closer look at the weekly downloads and active user metrics for the leading apps in this category.

Revolut: Spend, Save, Trade saw a fluctuating pattern in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 36.4K in early July and peaking at around 45.5K by the end of September. The app also maintained a robust number of weekly active users, which increased from about 408K to nearly 494K throughout the quarter.

Google Wallet maintained a consistent download rate, beginning at roughly 28.8K and concluding the quarter at approximately 31.3K. Active user numbers for Google Wallet were substantial, starting at over 1M and rising to about 1.19M by the end of September.

Waylet. Pagos con el móvil experienced steady download figures, with numbers remaining around 20.1K in early July and increasing to 21.3K by the end of the quarter. The app's weekly active users hovered around the 300K mark, showing slight fluctuations but generally maintaining stability through the months.

BBVA Spain | Online Banking displayed a gradual increase in downloads, from approximately 19.5K in July to about 25.7K by late September. Active user engagement was notably high, starting at 2.4M and reaching nearly 2.46M by the quarter's end.

CaixaBankNow downloads began at around 21.3K, peaking at 26.6K towards the end of September. The app's active user base also showed a healthy increase, from roughly 2.9M to over 2.91M.
