Top 5 Education Apps on Android in Nigeria Q3 2024

The third quarter of 2024 saw a diverse performance among the top five education apps on the Android platform in Nigeria. According to data from Sensor Tower, these apps showed varied trends in weekly downloads, active users, and in some cases, revenue.

Advanced English Dictionary from S A Technalogies saw a gradual increase in weekly downloads, starting at around 20.9K in early July and reaching approximately 25.3K by the end of September. The app's active users also increased steadily, moving from 36.9K to 40.8K during the same period. Revenue remained negligible throughout the quarter.

Domi Kids-Baby Songs & Videos showed a slight decline in weekly downloads, beginning at 20.7K in early July and ending at 15.6K in late September. However, the app maintained a strong base of active users, peaking at about 134.3K towards the end of the quarter.

Duolingo: Language Lessons experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads, with a notable peak of 33.1K in the second week of July, before stabilizing around 11.0K by the end of September. The app's weekly revenue increased slightly, starting at $282 and rising to $380 over the quarter. Active users peaked at 49.4K in early September but saw a gradual decline to 40.7K by the end of the quarter.

Bible App for Kids maintained a consistent level of weekly downloads, with minor fluctuations around the 10K mark. The app's active users showed a steady increase, reaching approximately 26.2K by mid-September before slightly declining towards the end of the month.

Kids Nursery Rhymes - Domi TV from BabyTiger Kid Apps & Games saw a decrease in weekly downloads from 11.4K at the start of the quarter to 10.2K by the end. Active user numbers remained relatively stable, hovering around 11K throughout the quarter.
