In the third quarter of 2024, the education category on the Android platform in Europe saw notable trends among the top five apps, as tracked by Sensor Tower.

Duolingo: Language Lessons achieved impressive growth in both revenue and user engagement. Weekly revenue steadily increased, peaking at $977K in late September. Downloads also showed a positive trend, reaching a high of 884K in late August. Meanwhile, active users grew from 8.9M in early July to over 10M by the end of September.

eduVULCAN exhibited a significant rise in downloads, with a peak of 542K in early September. Active users also increased, reaching 1.1M by the end of the quarter.

PictureThis - Plant Identifier saw a decline in weekly revenue, decreasing from $115K in early July to $56K by the end of September. Downloads followed a downward trajectory, starting at 90K and dropping to 35K in the last week of the quarter. Active users decreased from 563K to 386K over the same period.

Google Classroom experienced a remarkable surge in downloads, peaking at 253K in mid-September. Active users also rose significantly, climbing from 1.8M in early July to 6.5M by the end of September.

Photomath reported a steady increase in revenue, reaching $6.7K in the last week of September. Downloads saw substantial growth, peaking at 179K in early September. Active users grew from 2M to 8.8M over the quarter.
