In the third quarter of 2024, the top five dating apps on the Android platform in Ghana demonstrated varied performance trends, according to Sensor Tower data. Here’s a closer look at their weekly downloads, revenue, and active user metrics.

Dating and Chat - iHappy saw a fluctuating trend in weekly downloads, beginning with a high of approximately 19.7K in mid-July and ending the quarter at 12.6K. Revenue peaked at $30 in late July, then experienced minor fluctuations, closing at $22 in the last week of September. Active users were robust, starting at 65.7K and ending at 72.1K, showing a consistent user base.

VSChat:Live video chat experienced a decline in downloads from 13.5K in early July to around 5.7K at the quarter's end. Revenue was mostly modest, with a peak of $23 in mid-August. The app maintained steady growth in active users, increasing from 26.1K to 45.1K throughout the quarter.

Poppo Live- Live Stream recorded a decrease in weekly downloads from 14.3K in early July to 3.4K by the end of September. Despite this, revenue remained relatively stable, beginning at $330 and closing at $151. Active users showed a small decline over the quarter, starting at 23.4K and ending at 15.4K.
