In the second quarter of 2024, several shopping apps demonstrated notable performance in the Czech Republic. Here’s a closer look at the trends for the top 5 shopping apps based on data from Sensor Tower.

Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire experienced a fluctuating pattern in weekly downloads, starting strong with over 41K in the first week of April and peaking at around 46K by the end of the month. However, a noticeable dip occurred in May, with downloads dropping to approximately 26K in the final week. Despite this, weekly active users showed a consistent upward trajectory, growing from 381K in early April to nearly 478K by the end of June.

Trendyol: Fashion & Trends saw a peak in downloads mid-April with 39.5K, but then faced a gradual decline, ending June with around 12.8K downloads. Active users followed a similar pattern, peaking at 80.6K in April and stabilizing at around 74.7K towards the end of the quarter.

Allegro had a varied download trend, starting the quarter with approximately 17.3K and reaching a high of 26.8K in early April before settling around 18K by the end of June. Active users increased steadily, from 120K at the beginning of April to about 149K by the last week of June.

Clubcard Tesco Česko showed significant growth in downloads, spiking at 34.2K in late April before stabilizing at around 10.2K in June. Active users also mirrored this growth, starting at 209K in early April and reaching 245K by the end of the quarter.

Lidl Plus maintained a steady download rate throughout the quarter, with figures ranging from 12.7K to 19K. The app’s active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating slightly around the 140K to 147K mark.
